Short Film

During the 1984 Iran/Iraq war, Hassan, Ahmed, and Muneer begin a seemingly playful road trip that belies a difficult route ahead, and find their friendship forever altered at the final stop.

​

Based on a true story from Hazim Petros. Aziz was shortlisted for the Student Academy Awards and Student BAFTA Awards. It played at dozens of film festivals before premiere on Omeleto to hundreds of thousands of views in 2023.
