Ramiel Petros is an Iraqi-American writer and director. He is a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and an alum of the Creative Culture Writer/Director Fellowship at the Jacob Burns Film Center. His films have played at numerous festivals.

 

Ramiel’s work has been shortlisted for the Student BAFTA Awards and the Student Academy Awards, and he has been a finalist for the Young Director Award, the Scene in Color Film Series, and Disney Launchpad. The Last Guest of the Holloway Motel is his feature directorial debut, and will be premiering at Tribeca 2025.
